About Me

Hello. I'm Jung Won Park from class 10a3. Catherine is my English name that I also use on Facebook. I'm easier with my English name than my Korean name since I lived abroad for some year, and I call myself "Catherine" than "Jungwon" in many occasions, like Facebook I mentioned. I lived in the States, specifically VA, for an year and prior to that I lived in British Columbia, Canada for an year. In total, two years of foreign experience.

Allow me to briefly introduce myself. I have a bad habit of playing with my hair. That is one of my  oldest and worst habits that I cannot get rid of. I also prefer to be active and participating rather than passive and quiet. And I have a very loud voice that is not easy to ignore.
I want to become either a lawyer, a writer, a professor, uh...not quite sure yet. Before coming to KMLA, I thought of becoming a fund manager, but this school and the variety of its curricula has definitely widened my scope of what my future can look like. Currently, my interests are philosophy and sociology. Languages, of course including English, are always fascinating, too.

My goal this semester is to have fun. I think learning is a by-product of enjoying when it comes to languages. Therefore I believe it is wiser not to aim to improve my English, but to do my best and not find this class stressful.
